Free People definitely has their social media game down. They are extremely active on all of their social media platforms, and often like and reply to comments and messages. They also repost and share photos of people who tag the brand, deepening the connection to their customers while simultaneously encouraging others to share their products for the chance to have their photo shared on one of their large platforms. They seem to be most active on their Instagram, but clearly they are active on all of their platforms, posting at least daily to each of them, aside from their YouTube channel.

Like Free People, Target uses its social media wisely, keeping very active on all its platforms and communicating with its customers. It uses its Twitter account very often, which is one of the platforms that makes it very easy to communicate and interact with its audience/customers.

Hydroflask isn't as active on some of its platforms as it is on others. It appears it posts the same posts on its Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, using all three platforms to promote the others. Hydroflask does interact a lot with its followers, always doing giveaways and reposts and replying to comments. I think Hydroflask could do a better job being a little more personable.

White Claw's target customers are different from the previously mentioned brands, so they are active on social media platforms that are used more widely by younger audiences in their 20s. They are most active on Instagram and Twitter, the two platforms that I usually associate with younger people around my age (21). Since it is an alcohol company, this makes sense. I think their marketing and use of social media is clever, but I do think that they could be a little more active.

5. Depop

Depop, like Hydroflask, has a similar audience demographic, being younger people in their 20s, even teens. Depop is extremely active on their Twitter, constantly replying and retweeting people's posts. I think they do a very good job interacting with their customers and using their social media platforms to their advantage.

When companies are aware of who their target audience is, and use their social media accordingly, then I believe social media can be a huge tool for their success.
